Heat tube based technology for cooler chips

Tucana’s HT- 200 is short form of Heat tube based 200 watt LED lighting system. Heat tube based lighting system is the most efficient system the led system cool and thus allow led to produce maximum lumens for a given quantum of current. As all LED system produce heat which is to the back plate, it is very critical to remove that heat, which otherwise damages the LED or reduce its life drastically. Tucana’s heat tube system patented technology, which ensures that heat escapes from LED in quickest time. Heat tubes have evaporative fluid packed under partial vacuum, hermetically sealed. So when the LED generates heat , the fluid in heat tube vaporises in closed system and takes away the heat to the evaporator. conduction in this way is more than 100 times faster than that done by pure copper!!! It is only for this reason, that a hot and tropical country need based lights, especially in industry where the ambient temperature can be quite high

Tucana Bay lights are highly efficient lighting devices, which will save you up to 70% energy cost over conventional lighting, like Tube lights, CFL, lights or Mercury lights. This is primarily because of the fact that by design, our LED produces 140-150 lumen of light per watt. Secondly, LED throws front direction, unlike other light sources, which send out light in all directions. And thirdly, all conventional light sources loose light producing 1-3% per 100 burning hours, while our LM-80 certified LEDs will lose only about 25% over 50,000 hours or 20 years

Over and above that the light life can be 50-80,000 hrs (20-30 years) depending upon usage conditions. While conventional lighting sources deteriorate almost 50% in 6000 hours, LED will give you more than 75% rated light output even after 20 years (50,000 HRS).

Vast voltage range

Our Bay light is designed to function at any voltage from 110 volt to 300 volt!! Isn’t that great? If the voltage goes beyond 300 volt, the lights will the voltage returns to normal.

Surge protection

The device is also protected against the surges up to 6 KVA!!. If you are in an area with higher surge occurrences, we suggest you should install a central surge guard circuitry at the main electrical junction of your facility.

Bright anodized, rugged and pure aluminium body

The light is housed in purest Aluminium grade 1101, body which has very high reflectivity and thermal conductivity. Apart from that the 2.2 mm thick reflector is very heavy duty, i and doubles up as Heat sink (our patented technology). This heavy duty reflector also acts as a protective armour for the LED source. It has bright finishing and then anodized to make the shine permanent.

Optical grade lenses

Light from HT- 200 passes through a lens panel, which brings all stray light beams to 60 degree. This ensures superior lighting efficiency and prevents loss of light to the atmosphere, where light is not required. This lens panel also has a silicone gasket which protects LED from moisture, dust or water.
