Centrifugal Jet pumps volute chamber and impellers are designed to give the possible hydraulic efficiency and suction lift characteristics. Sealing is by means of a bellows mechanical seal made of carbon & ceramic is fitted over the shaft, which is ground to close tolerance. Pumps are available in single stage, double stage and multi stage for various needs. These pumps are power-driven by a totally enclosed fan cooled A.C. Induction two pole motor, suitable for continuous duty. Motor stator is made of low watt loss silicon steel laminations. Dynamically balanced rotor ensures vibration and noise free operations and increases the life of the bearings and seal. The windings are of high-grade enamelled copper wire and are varnish impregnated. Construction of motor frames and usage of quality materials result in high performance and low temperature rise thereby increasing the life cycle of the motor. A thermal cutout relay (motor protector) is incorporated in all single–phase motors. All single-phase pumps require an adequate starter / motor protection control panel.
